Sadaqa Jariya

are the three things that continue to benefit a deceased person in the Hereafter/Spirit World. One of those things is charity given by the deceased while still alive and/or the giving of it in a person's name after they have transitioned.

When the Prophet Muhammad was asked what was the best charity one could give he answered the providing of water.

Water is sacred in many cultures. It is what helped to sustain while we were being physically formed in our mothers' wombs, and what sustains us on Earth. 

​

Unfortunately, there is a massive water crisis happening around the world. In an effort to do our part in helping to ease the effects of it while also 1) continuing Muriyd 'Two Clouds' water activism, and 2) striving to ensure he has ample sadaqa jariya (reward of giving charity) to help in his new life, we have a 'Water Well for Mali' campaign going on right now.
